How it works

Kirchhoff's analysis, comprising Kirchhoff's Voltage Law (KVL) and Kirchhoff's Current Law (KCL), is fundamental in circuit theory. KVL states that the sum of all voltages around a closed loop equals zero, ensuring energy conservation. KCL asserts that the sum of currents entering a junction equals the sum of currents leaving, maintaining charge conservation.

In this circuit you can experiment with Kirchhoff's Current Law interactively.
