Multimeter

In DCACLab the multimeter is a probe instrument with a selector that reads DC or AC voltage between two points, current when placed in series with a branch, and resistance across a component that is not powered. Circuits in this tag are mostly measurement exercises: checking Ohm's law, verifying Kirchhoff's voltage and current laws, confirming Thevenin and Norton equivalents, and finding the voltage at the output of a divider or regulator. For example, "Using Multimeter in Lab" shows how to connect the meter's leads to read the voltage and current around a lamp circuit.
