Hi @dpb703
Great point! Right now, DCAClab doesn’t simulate realistic audio output — it focuses more on electronic behavior rather than sound processing. We do have amplifier components, but not specifically guitar amplifiers. Still, adding classic tubes like the EL34, EL84, 12AX7, and 6V6 is a really interesting idea, especially for users who want to experiment with guitar amp designs. I’ll pass this along to the team as a future feature request. If you have an example circuit or schematic in mind, feel free to share — that would help us understand your use case better.
Currently, DCAClab doesn’t provide realistic audio output, but you can still experiment with a simple guitar amplifier concept using the existing amplifier component. A push button can be used as the input signal, which is then feed into the amplifier, and the output can be connected to a buzzer. This demonstrates the amplification principle within the DCAClab simulator.
