Circuit Editor Copy and Paste

Is there a way to copy and past sections of a circuit from one lab or assignment to another? It is very tedious creating similar circuits from scratch when they are complex but similar to one another.
I managed to do this on one occassion with ctrl-c ctrl-v but it seemed to be a one off.

Hi @darren.jackson

Assignment part or in DCACLab Circuit Simulator, you can copy and paste components within the same workspace using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. This allows you to quickly replicate sections of your circuit without having to rebuild them from scratch. However, copy-pasting is limited to the current workspace, so you cannot paste circuits in different workspaces.

Additionally, if you’re working with an circuit project, you can also duplicate the entire circuit within the same workspace using the slide feature. You can create up to 3 slides in a single workspace, allowing you to create different views or variations of your circuit.

To summarize:

  • Copy-paste components within the same workspace using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V.
  • Duplicate entire circuits within the same workspace using the slide feature (up to 3 slides).
  • Cannot paste or duplicate circuits in different workspaces.

OK, thanks for your help. Appreciated.
