Additional LED types/voltages

It would be very helpful if there were user definable options for LED’s.

At the moment it appears that the only option for an LED is the generic 2.0V red LED with no ability to change the values. It would be extremely helpful to be able to select from the standard range of LEDs and their min/max voltage ratings, or be able to input min/max voltages.

This has an impact on circuits because different LED’s require different voltages and resistors to function. Building a circuit that works for a red LED will not light a white one. Building a circuit for a white one, will burn out a red.

Red: 1.8 - 2.1 (VDC)
Amber: 2.0 - 2.2
Orange: 1.9 - 2.2
Yellow: 1.9 - 2.2
Green: 2.0 - 3.1
Blue: 3.0 - 3.7
White: 3.0 - 3.4

RGB LED’s are probably a completely separate component.

thanks

Thanks for your note.
Actually, different voltage drop for each color is already applied as per below:

I have enhanced the property inspector to show the applied voltage drop:

Let me know if you have any notes please.

Oh!, excellent. That will work. I knew you could select colours, but I wasn’t sure if that was actually impacting the circuit.
