We can use the DPDT switch to choose between 2 different load and have a visual indication of what load is connected. In our case when DPDT switch is ON then the Red LED1 are turned ON. When DPDT switch is OFF then the green LED2 are turned ON with making polarity. Polarity checking using Oscillioscope.
